Top 5 Food and Drink Apps on iOS in Norway Q2 2021

In the second quarter of 2021, the top five food and drink applications on iOS in Norway demonstrated interesting trends in downloads and active users. The data, provided by Sensor Tower, highlights the performance of Foodora NO: Food & Groceries, McDonald’s - Non-US, Wolt Delivery: Food and more, Too Good To Go: End Food Waste, and Burger King® Norge.

Foodora NO: Food & Groceries saw a fluctuating pattern in weekly downloads, peaking at over 5.7K in mid-April and then settling around 3K to 4K towards the end of June. Weekly active users also showed variability, with numbers ranging from approximately 20K to 24K, ending the quarter near 21.5K.

McDonald’s - Non-US experienced a gradual increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 2K at the beginning of April and climbing to over 3.3K by the end of June. The app's active user base remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 24K and 28K throughout the quarter.

For Wolt Delivery: Food and more, weekly downloads showed an upward trend, with notable spikes in early April and mid-May, reaching up to 2.6K in the week of May 17. Active users also increased steadily, starting at 12.3K at the end of March and peaking at 17.1K by mid-June.

Too Good To Go: End Food Waste maintained consistent weekly downloads, with numbers fluctuating between 1.3K and 3K. The app's active user base exhibited a slight decline, from 82K in early April to around 74.5K by the end of June.

Lastly, Burger King® Norge also showed a steady increase in weekly downloads, rising from 1.1K at the end of March to over 1.5K by the end of June.
